Ladan Bosso has expressed gladness over the recovery of Ahmed Abdullahi from danger after the striker had a collision with the Burkinabe goalkeeper in the game that ended 2-2 on Wednesday evening in Niamey.
Abdullahi was stretchered off the pitch and taken to an ambulance, which took him straight to the hospital for further medical attention after the frightened incident on the pitch.
“We thank Almighty Allah that Ahmed Abdullahi is recovering fast. It was a bad moment for the team when he could not continue the game,” Ladan Bosso said.
“But I’m glad and everyone is happy that he responded to treatment very well and he is recovering quite good.
“We still have some days to train before the semi – final game and hopefully, the medical team will certify him fully fit for the semi – final game,” he said.
