Mikel, who is making his return to the Super Eagles after missing the FIFA World Cup in Russia, said that it will be a very rewarding experience for the Super Eagles to pick the maximum points right in front of the fans of Bafana Bafana in Johannesburg as a pay back for the first competitive loss of Nigeria to South Africa suffered last year in Uyo.
“It will be massive joy to beat South Africa as home , right in front of their fans for them to experience what we felt when we lost at home to them last year. Bafana Bafana are beatable and that is the way i feel about the game.” Mike said.
“We have great quality players in the Super Eagles and if i am given the opportunity to play by the coach, i will make my possible best to show Nigeria how good i am, but the truth is that, we have the players to beat South Africa,” he said.
