The Flying Eagles of Nigeria will tackle Brazil, Italy and Dominican Republic in Group D hostilities, but Bamaiyi affirmed that the team will fight and play with strong determination and discipline needed to excel at the global stage.
“This is football and any team is beatable. We will fight and defend the honour of Nigeria. Nothing good comes easy,” Bamaiyi told www.totorinews.com exclusively in Abuja.
We will work hard to earn good results at the world cup tournament. Any team that qualified for the world cup is capable of beating any other team.
“This is football. Personally, I want Nigeria to perform very well at the World Cup, progress from one stage to another,” he said.
