Aminu Balele Kurfi supports Flying Eagles with N.75m

The camp of the Flying Eagles bubbled this evening with cash flow as Aminu Balele Kurfi, a member of the technical committee of the Nigeria Football gave the team a  donation of N500,000 to the team and N250,000 to the backroom staff, www.totorinews.com reports.

It was a pleasant surprise after the team defeated Nasarawa United 4-2 in a very enterprising game watched by Shehu Dikko, 2nd Vice President of the NFF, Ahmed Yusuf Fresh, chairman of the technical committee of the NFF and host of football stakeholders at the FIFA goal project at package b of the MKO stadium, Abuja.

“There is a need for the team to keep improving in every game. No easy games anymore anywhere in the world, so every player must work hard. It is my pleasure to give the team N500,000 and N250,000. to the backroom staff,” Kurfi said.

“The U 20 team is very important and this team must be encouraged by every football Nigerian to excel and qualify for the African Youth Championship,” he added.

“I will be glad to support the team with N15m if the team can make Nigerians proud to pick the qualification ticket at the regional AFCON U 20 tournament,” he further said.

The regional U 20 tournament was initially meant to be hosted by Togo, but the West African nation pulled out of hosting the tournament,  citing the increase of COVID-19 cases in the country and a new host nation is yet to be announced by CAF.
