AFCON U-20: Flying Eagles demolish Tunisia to win bronze

Flying Eagles of Nigeria will not leave the land of Pharoahs empty handed after the team demolished their Tunisian counterpart 4-0 in the third – place game, reports www.totorinews.com

Ibrahim Muhammed, who has been a shinning armour in the attack of the Flying Eagles opened scoring for Nigeria in the 9th minute of the encounter.

Tunisia did not sit back as they came out in search of equaliser which eluded them, as both teams went into the break.

On resumption, Tunisia defence was caught napping and Ahmed Abdullahi profited to score Nigeria’a second goal with his low drive in the 46th minute.

The North Africans were yet to recover when  Jude Sunday swiftly displaced three Tunisian defenders to hit a powerful drive with his left foot which hit the back of the net to make it 3-0 in the 49th minute.

It was a complete dominance from the Flying Eagles as Tunisia were rendered fully hopeless when Jude Sunday scored his brace in the 90th minute to make 4-0 in favour of Nigeria.
