After watching EFCC FC cancelled two goals deficit and eventually beating Sporting Supreme FC 7-5 on penalties to win the Abuja FA Cup on Saturday, Hon. SA- Bwaya Morris Atnadu says it was a great final to behold, reports www.totorinews.com.
Speaking to the media after the game at Bwari Township Stadium in Abuja, Hon. Atnadu, the Supervisory Councillor For Health, Bwari Area Council in the FCT, noted that both teams gave very good account of themselves in the thrilling encounter, adding that football cannot be predicted.
“As you are aware this is football and you can’t predict it the outcome until the referee signal the final whistle,” Hon. Atnadu told www.totorinews.com.

“What happened in this final has shown that when football is being played, the players must not give up, they must show resilient no matter the scoreline and not give up until the end of the game.
“The team leading must not relax and based on what we have watched in this final, both teams played well.
“It is hoped that the players will continue to improve their game and one day we may watch some of them in the National team of Nigeria,” he said.
